Adriana Saman

Adriana Saman


Adriana hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and is in the College of Arts and Sciences at Penn, with majors in International Relations and Economics. Though she has always been a member of the Debate Team, this is her first experience with Model UN and she’s excited to learn all about it. In addition to her interests in politics, foreign relations, and the creation of sustainable development projects, she is also passionate about art history, languages, and literature.

Alessia Pizzorni-Rossi

Alessia Pizzorni-Rossi


Alessia is currently a freshman in the Huntsman Program, pursuing a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.A. in International Studies from the College. Originally from Milan, Italy, Alessia currently lives in sunny Miami Beach and is passionate about cooking and traveling. She plays tennis in her free time (to balance out her love of food) and enjoys a good debate. Never having participated in a Model UN conference, Alessia is excited to be a part of ILMUNC this year!

Allison Collins

Allison Collins


Allison is a freshman in the Huntsman Program of International Studies and Business, a dual-degree between Wharton and the College of Arts and Sciences. She participated in Model UN during high school, and the first conference she ever attended was ILMUNC. She is thrilled to be an ASG, and can’t wait to help make ILMUNC XXVIII the best one yet!

Alonso Gerbaud

Alonso Gerbaud


Alonso is a freshman pursuing degrees in Economics and International Studies in the Huntsman Program—a dual-degree between Wharton and the College of Arts and Sciences at Penn, with a focus on Portuguese. He grew up in Panama, where he’s been involved in several high school and university forums since age 15. His interest in debate arose from his various participations in Harvard’s International Conference: HACIA. Since then, he has always wanted to moderate an Ivy League debate, and as a new member of the ILMUNC Secretariat, he is one step closer.

Anna Zhang

Anna Zhang


Anna is a freshman in the Wharton School and is planning to concentrate in Finance and possibly pursue a minor in Chinese. She is also interested in International Studies and loves traveling to countries around the world where she can learn about different cultures and people. Having lived most of her life in the San Francisco Bay Area, she is excited to explore the East Coast, starting from dear Philly. Anna is honored to serve as an Assistant Secretary-General this year and is looking forward to participating in Model UN for the first time. She hopes to make ILMUNC XXVIII a conference that no one will ever forget!

Ben Huynh

Ben Huynh


Ben is a sophomore in the Wharton School, currently clueless about what he is concentrating in but will definitely minor in Chinese. He has participated in Model UN since he was a sophomore in high school and even served as Chair for ILMUNC's Union for the Mediterranean committee at the WEMUN Expo in Beijing this summer, so he is very excited to be a part of ILMUNC XXVIII this year! Ben is originally from Robbinsville, New Jersey, which is 20 minutes outside of Princeton, and he also serves as the Business Director of the Penn International Relations Conference and as a Deputy Director of Special Events for the Penn International Affairs Association.

Chloe Petrich

Chloe Petrich


Chloe is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences and is considering a major in History and Political Science with a minor in Italian. Half French and half American, though living in London, Chloe loves to travel and to learn about new cultures and international affairs. Although she has never participated in Model UN in the past, she is incredibly excited to be an Assistant Secretary-General at ILMUNC XXVIII and is looking forward to a fantastic year!

Christina Romero

Christina Romero


Christina is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences and hopes to major in Economics. Coming from Long Island, New York, Christina has a great passion for the outdoors and enjoys spending her summers at the beach. Christina loves shopping, dancing, and eating late-night calzones to make it through her studies. Although she has never participated in a Model UN conference, she has a profound interest in international affairs and can't wait to be an Assistant Secretary-General of ILMUNC XXVIII!

Colleen Zorc

Colleen Zorc


Colleen is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences at Penn and has yet to decide her major. Her interest in foreign relations and diplomacy sparked from all the years she has lived in Washington, D.C. She participated in Model UN at her high school since freshman year but unfortunately has never attended ILMUNC. Outside of Model UN, she likes to play squash and find new restaurants with friends. Colleen is excited to help put together her first conference as an Assistant Secretary-General this year!

Daniel Riband

Daniel Riband


Daniel Riband is a Sophmore in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Political Science with a minor in Consumer Psychology. Having grown up the last twelve years of his life in Lausanne, Switzerland, Daniel is extremely interested in international affairs and spent three years doing in MUN in high school. When he isn't reflecting on solutions to the world's problems, you can find Daniel traveling the world, getting an adrenaline rush from some extreme sport or watching Hollywood blockbusters. Looking forwards to meeting you all this January at ILMUNC XXVIII!

Danielle Pita

Danielle Pita


Danielle is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in International Relations. Born and raised in beautiful South Florida, she has never participated in Model UN before, but she is excited to start at Penn. Nonetheless, her multicultural background has spawned a love of international affairs, travel, and languages. She is extremely excited to be an Assistant Secretary-General and help plan the amazing ILMUNC XXVIII!

Devin DiSabatino

Devin DiSabatino


Devin is a freshman in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, majoring in Electrical Engineering. He lives in New Jersey, but he attended Phillips Exeter Academy boarding school in New Hampshire for high school. Throughout his time there, Devin could be found long-boarding down hills and frantically jumping off before cruising into a dangerous intersection. He has never done Model UN before, but a deep interest in international affairs led Devin to get involved in college, and now he's very excited to be an Assistant Secretary-General for ILMUNC XXVIII!

Emily Foong

Emily Foong


Emily is a sophomore in the Jerome Fisher M& T Program at Penn. She is pursuing concentrations in Finance and Statistics in The Wharton School of Business, as well as Digital Media Design in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. When she’s not studying, Emily enjoys making music, going on scavenger hunts, eating food, running, and watching quality TV trash. Emily’s Model UN experience is limited, but nonetheless, she really loves traveling and learning about international cultures and affairs. She’s extremely excited to be an ILMUNC ASG and knows this is going to be the best conference EVER!!

Gery Parloiu


Gery is a freshman in the Huntsman Program hoping to major in Business and International Studies. He comes from Romania and has never participated in Model UN before. His international background and love for languages inspired him to apply for the International Affairs Association, and he is very excited to organize the upcoming conferences!

Jeffrey Nadel

Jeffrey Nadel


Jeffrey is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Growing up in the dense humidity of South Florida, he has been involved in Model UN since his freshman year of high school. He served as the President of the National Youth Rights Association, a youth-led civil rights organization, for the last two years as well. Having attended ILMUNC as a delegate just last year, Jeffrey knows what it takes for a conference to succeed. He is looking forward to meeting everyone this year and to experiencing what will be the best ILMUNC yet.

Mark Vessalico

Mark is a freshman in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences majoring in Electrical Engineering. Originally from New York, he participated in Model UN for two years in high school, attending two conferences in Washington D.C. His profound interest in foreign affairs led to his decision to become involved in the International Affairs Association at Penn. In his free time, Mark can be found either watching the Yankees game or out on the golf course. He is thrilled to be an Assistant Secretary-General for ILMUNC XXVIII and looks forward to making this the best conference yet!

Morgan Motzel

Morgan Motzel


Morgan is a freshman in the Huntsman Program where she is pursuing degrees in Economics and International Studies, with Spanish as her target language. She grew up in Minnesota and participated in Speech and Debate in high school, competing in the categories of Global Human Rights, 21st Century Technology, and Media and its Effects on Society. This year's ILMUNC will be her first experience with Model UN, and she's super excited to get involved in the IAA and plan a fantastic conference!

Nikolai Zapertov

Nikolai Zapertov


Nikolai is a recent sophomore transfer into the College of Arts and Sciences at Penn, majoring in the Biological Basis of Behavior. Despite having three citizenships and a voracious wanderlust, Nikolai joined Model UN in college to better understand international relations and the factors that lead to transnational stalemates on various issues. As a new member of the Penn IAA and newly appointed ILMUNC ASG, Nikolai looks forward to switching from the delegate side to the secretariat side of Model UN, and can't wait to help make ILMUNC XXVIII the most memorable one yet!

Paula Berenguer

Paula Berenguer


Paula is a freshman in the Huntsman Program, a dual degree track including a degree in business from Wharton and international studies from the College of Arts and Sciences. She now lives in New York, but grew up in New Mexico, Germany, and Spain. Although Paula did not do Model UN in high school, speaking four languages and traveling around the world has always made her interested in international relations. She is so excited to make this the best ILMUNC that high school students have ever seen!

Renata Giarola

Renata Giarola


Renata is a freshman in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and interested in Health Systems and Development Policy in the developing world. Originally from Brasilia, Brazil, she has been involved in Model UN conferences all over Brazil and in the United States since her freshman year in high school at the Military School of Brasilia. In addition to learning about international relations, she enjoys belly dancing and speaking romance languages. She leaps with excitement to be a part of the ILMUNC XXVIII Secretariat and can't wait to meet you all in this awesome conference!

Tarek Elsayed

Tarek Elsayed


Tarek is a freshman in the College of Arts and Science and is planning to major in either English or Philosophy. He grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, just outside the Poconos, where the biggest cultural institution was the local Wawa. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, watching movies, and reading. Tarek has participated as a delegate in several Model UN conferences and is looking forward to his first ILMUNC.
