Zach Stone

Secretary-General

Zach is a junior in the College of Arts and Science majoring in Chinese and African Studies and hailing from New York City. This will be Zach’s 7th ILMUNC, having been an ILMUNC delegate for 4 years in high school, and then serving as an Assistant Secretary-General and as an Undersecretary-General of the General Assembly Committees. In his spare time, Zach can be found training for marathons and watching endless reruns of Seinfeld. Zach is thrilled to be the Secretary-General of the twenty-seventh session of ILMUNC, and is looking forward to meeting all of you in January!

Daniela is a senior in the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Electrical Engineering and Economics. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and currently living in Switzerland, Daniela has always had an interest in international affairs and Model UN. After serving as an Assistant Secretary-General and Under Secretary-General Operations, Daniela is looking forward to making ILMUNC XXVII the best yet!

Pallavi is a senior studying Electrical Engineering from Kendall Park, New Jersey. She's been involved with Model UN since her sophomore year of high school and has carried this passion over through her years at Penn. She served as an Assistant Secretary-General for ILMUNC XXV and has been involved with Model UN conferences as both a Chair and a delegate. Pallavi is excited to be working with a passionate and energetic Secretariat to create what she knows will be the most incredible and enjoyable ILMUNC yet.

Business Director

Scott is a junior studying in the Wharton School of Business. Originally from Purchase, New York, he attended Rye Country Day School for high school where he began his love for Model UN. He has been participating in Model UN since 9th grade, and this will be his 6th consecutive year attending ILMUNC. After serving as the Under Secretary-General for the Specialized Agencies at last year’s conference and an Assistant Secretary-General at ILMUNC XXV, he is very excited to be this year’s Business Director. João Victor is a sophomore at the Wharton School of Business from Brasilia, Brazil. Aside from business, he has great interest in global politics and international affairs. In high school, he was able to explore such interests by attending various Model United Nations conferences, including ILMUNC, the Iberian Model UN Conference in Lisbon, and the Brazil Model United Nations Conference in Rio de Janeiro, where he had the experience of being a delegate, then chair, and eventually Secretary-General. At ILMUNC XXVI, João Victor served as Assistant Secretary-General. João Victor is extremely excited to be Under Secretary-General of the General Assembly at ILMUNC XXVII and wishes you best of luck in preparing for the best conference you will ever attend!

Alice is a sophomore in the Huntsman Program, a dual-degree track combining international relations in the College of Arts and Sciences and business in Wharton. She lives in New York and comes from a Bulgarian background. Model UN has been her passion since high school, and this will be her sixth ILMUNC. After working as an Assistant Secretary-General last year, she is particularly excited to be working with General Assembly committees now. She cannot wait to meet all the delegates and see what amazing ideas they come up with!

Monica is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences pursuing majors in Political Science and Communications along with a minor in Consumer Psychology. Born and raised in vibrant Mexico City, her passion for international affairs and culture has led her to become involved in her eight Model UN experience. In the past she has served as Assistant Secretary-General for ILMUNC XXV, Under Secretary-General for ECOSOC for ILMUNC XXVI and addressed the United Nations Culture for Peace Forum at the General Assembly in New York City. She cannot wait to meet you, and is extremely excited to help set the bar high for the most outstanding conference ILMUNC has ever experienced! .

Allie is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Political Science. Although Allie did not participate in MUN during high school, she has always had a great interest in international affairs, which lead her to join the International Affairs Association at Penn. Last year she served as an Assistant Secretary-General for the General Assembly. At ILMUNC XXVII, she will take on the role of Under-Secretary General for Specialized Agencies. Allie is thrilled to be apart of this year's Secretariat and is looking forward to ILMUNC XXVII!

Andres is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in International Relations with a minor in Legal Studies and History. Born and raised in Costa Rica, he fell in love with the Penn’s International Affairs Association and Model UN just this year. In the past, he served as an Assistant Secretary-General during ILMUNC XXVI. Now, as Under Secretary-General for Crisis committees, Andres can’t wait to meet all of you in what will be the best MUN conference ever witnessed!

Phill is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Science from St. Louis, Missouri, and is considering a double major in Political Science and Communication. Having participated in Model UN throughout high school and serving as an Assistant Secretary-General at ILMUNC XXVI, he is incredibly excited to take on the role of Under-Secretary-General for Crisis and Regional Simulations this year while helping to make this conference the best yet.

Sam is a sophomore in the Jerome Fisher Management and Technology Program, a joint degree program between the Wharton School and the School of Engineering and Applied Science. This will be his sixth ILMUNC conference, and his second time on Secretariat. Sam thought that the end of high school meant the end of Model UN, but found himself drawn in again and hopes ILMUNC will be the best of all!

 

 
Yuchen Pan

Yuchen "Martin" Pan is a sophomore in the Jerome Fisher Management and Technology Program, a joint degree program between the Wharton School and the School of Engineering and Applied Science. He is pursing a rigorous study in computer science and doing sub-matriculation into Penn's Masters Program. Born in Shanghai, he is passionate for East Asian politics, so he joined in the International Affairs Association and served as an Assistant Secretary-General for ILMUNC XXVI. He came to Penn because he wanted to meet new people, taste new food, as well as to learn broadly, deeply and wildly. Constantly, he is updating his own knowledge of IT entrepreneurship and sustainability issues.
