Dear Delegates,

Thank you for choosing to spend your ILMUNC 36 experience with myself and the rest of our team for this committee! I am excited to be serving as your chair and to see how you all shape this experience with the amazing skills you each bring to the competition.

To know more about myself, I am studying an integrated degree of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics in the College of Arts & Sciences. Along with traveling on Penn's Model United Nations team, on campus I am involved with the Collegium Institute as an undergraduate fellow, the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, and Christian Union. I am an Eagle Scout, a member of the Sons of the American Legion, and a former football state champion while starting as a center. A few of my niche interests include the outdoors, Appalachian culture, and cooking barbeque. All this aside, the thing I care about most is that I am from the great mountain state of West Virginia. Objectively, I am the proudest Mountaineer you will ever meet.

As your committee chair and your closest connection with ILMUNC’s staff, I hope to promote a sense of competition as well as cooperation in committee between each delegate. You all have terrific ideas, and my favorite part is seeing them conflict and then resolve into one outcome. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have, and I look forward to meeting you all in committee!

Sincerely,

Kaden Stenger

Dear Delegates,

Welcome to ILMUNC 36! My name is Nick Tursi and I will be your Crisis Director for this committee. I look forward to meeting all of you!

I am a junior in the College of Arts & Sciences at Penn studying Biology and Chinese (I am looking forward to practicing my Chinese all weekend in our committee!). I have been doing Model UN since high school, and been involved with MUN at Penn since my freshman year. In addition to the International Affairs Association, I work in a vaccine lab at the Wistar Institute. I am a pre-med, so you can usually find me on campus with my other pre-med friends complaining about our work load. As someone from South Jersey, let me be the first to say that Central Jersey does not exist. Oh, and South Jersey will always be better than North Jersey.

When I am not doing academic things, I enjoy debating with my friends about politics, watching Game of Thrones, and playing tennis.

I know I can speak for the entire staff when I say that we are excited for ILMUNC 36! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to any of us.

Best,

Nick Tursi
