JESSE VAN DOREN

Jesse Van Doren is a sophomore in the College of Arts & Sciences studying Political Science and Environmental Science with a minor in French. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Jesse was a committed MUN kid for all four years of high school and has since enjoyed seeing the other side of MUN as a member of ILMUNC. At Penn, Jesse competes on the Mock Trial team, leads campus tours with the Kite & Key Society, and writes opinion columns for The Daily Pennsylvanian. He is also actively involved in research, with projects ranging from reviewing the human impacts of climate change to studying coral skeletons in a coral ecology lab. Outside of classes and clubs, you can find him failing at spikeball, biking along the Schuylkill river trail, or maybe just watching food vloggers on YouTube. Having loved ILMUNC as a high schooler, he is deeply honored to come full circle and serve as the conference’s next Secretary-General.

OLIVIA ROMAN

Olivia Roman is a sophomore studying Economics with a minor in Consumer Psychology. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Olivia was on her high school’s Model United Nations team for all four years. Outside of ILMUNC, Olivia is involved in the Jewish Heritage Program, Greek Life, and the Romanian community. In her free time, she enjoys singing, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new places in Philly. Olivia is incredibly proud to serve as ILMUNC XLIII’s Director-General and can’t wait to meet you all in January!

JÓN SALENGER

Jon Salenger is a sophomore from Baltimore, Maryland studying Mathematics in the College of Arts & Sciences In his free time he enjoys playing golf and skiing. On campus, he is involved with the Club Squash team and Greek Life. He is a pretty good cook, and he is excited for ILMUNC XLIII.

DEVON YAU

Devon Yau is a sophomore from Johns Creek, Georgia studying Consumer Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. Devon has been involved with ILMUNC since his freshman year at Penn and is thrilled to be serving as this year's Chief Financial Officer! On campus, he performs with the Excelano Project, is on board in the Chinese Student Association, and is a DJ with DJ@Penn. In his free time, Devon enjoys making flower arrangements and playing pickup basketball.

BRIANNA KWAN

Brianna is a junior from Brooklyn, New York majoring in Cognitive Science and Computer Science and minoring in Design. She joined the Model UN realm in 2024 as a part of the ILMUNC XLI secretariat with a curiosity for the transformative environment. As a past ASG and USG of Ops, she is so excited to continue contributing to Ops as Chief of Operations of ILMUNC XLIII. She loves exploring artistic and athletic side quests and can always be found listening to music (100k+ minutes on Spotify). Brianna is super stoked for ILMUNC XLIII and is looking forward to meeting everyone!

OREN GITIG

Oren Gitig is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Mathematical Economics and minoring in Logic, Information, and Computation. She is originally from Westchester, New York and loved participating in Model UN in high school. Outside of ILMUNC, Oren is involved in tutoring and in Penn Hillel. In her free time, Oren loves reading, listening to music, and going on walks. She is so excited to meet all the delegates of ILMUNC XLIII!

Betsmona Alemshowa

Betsmona Alemshowa is a freshman in the College of Arts & Sciences studying PPE, and a minor in Consumer Psychology. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Betsmona was involved in the Model UN circuit in her state for all four years of high school. Outside of ILMUNC, Betsmona is involved in Mask and Wig as a Business Associate, and is apart of Consult for America as an Associate Consultant. In her free time, you can find her listening to Frank Ocean an absurd amount, singing, or perhaps embarking on a random artistic side quest. Betsmona is honored to be a USG of Subs this year, and is elated to meet delegates at ILMUNC XLII!

Eva Egozi

Eva Egozi is a freshman in the College of Arts & Sciences studying Political Science and Hispanic Studies with a minor in Data Science & Analytics. She is originally from Miami, Florida, and has always loved both the sense of community and diplomatic spirit the Model UN environment has fostered with her, which ultimately drew her to ILMUNC as an organization during her freshman year. On campus, she competes intercollegiately on Penn’s Model UN Team, works with worldwide NGOs through Penn International Impact Consulting, writes editorials for Penn Undergraduate Law Journal, leads campus tours with the Kite & Key Society, and is a member of greek life. Outside of school, she enjoys baking and cooking, playing pickleball, going on walks, and going to the beach. She is incredibly honored and excited to help organize and facilitate ILMUNC XLIII.

Tiyya Geiger

Tiyya is a sophomore from Lancaster, Pennsylvania majoring in Political Science and History. Having just wrapped up her first year in ILMUNC in the XLII secretariat, she is excited to continue contributing to Subs as an Under Secretary General for XLIII. On campus, she is involved in the Ethiopian community and Greek Life, and in her free time she enjoys reading and exploring Philadelphia!

Penelope Halpern

Penelope Halpern is a freshman in the College of Arts & Sciences studying Cognitive Science. Originally from New York City, she was competed in Model UN throughout high school. At Penn, Penelope is involved in the Jewish Heritage Program, TAMID, and Greek Life. She is also very involved in research, mainly focusing on autism in children. Katie Haroun is a freshman from Baltimore, Maryland studying Artificial Intelligence in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. Joshua Miller

Joshua Miller is a freshman in the College of the Arts and Sciences studying Economics with a minor in Consumer Psychology. He calls the suburbs of Philadelphia (Fort Washington) his home. In high school, he participated in Model UN for 3 years, even attending ILMUNC twice as a delegate before eventually joining the Secreteriat. Outside of the classroom, Josh loves racket sports, and is looking to obtain a padel coaching license in the near future. Josh is overwhelmed with excitement for ILMUNC XLIII!

Priyanka Agarwal is a sophomore from Livingston, New Jersey at Wharton studying Finance and Entrepreneurship. On campus, she's involved in Penn International Impact Consulting and Girls into VC. Hayden Kwok

Hayden Kwok is a freshman studying Economics with a minor in Statistics and Data Science. Originally from Mauritius, Hayden grew up surrounded by beaches and year-round summer – so yes, he will complain about Philly winters. At Penn, he is involved with the Wharton Marketing Undergraduate Student Establishment, serves as a campus tour guide with the Kite & Key Society, and conducts research in entrepreneurship and strategy. In his free time, you can find Hayden flying a plane over Philadelphia or cooking with his friends. He cannot wait to meet all the delegates and see some fantastic debate unfold at ILMUNC XLIII!

Theo Brown

Theo Brown is a freshman from Baltimore, MD studying Bioengineering. Outside of ILMUNC, he is involved in the Engineering Deans' Advisory Board and Assistive Devices and Prosthetic Technologies club. He loves a good jog down the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, or trying any new food spot. He is thrilled to meet the delegates of for ILMUNC XLIII!

Texas Maki

Texas Maki is a freshman in the Nursing and Healthcare Management program, pursuing a dual degree through the School of Nursing and the Wharton School. Originally from Wisconsin, he has loved being involved with ILMUNC and helping bring the conference to life behind the scenes. Outside of ILMUNC, Texas is involved in Wharton Leadership Ventures, Greek life, and Penn Men’s Ultimate Frisbee. In his free time, he enjoys running, traveling, and finding new places to eat around Philadelphia. Sudhir Yelamarthy

Sudhir Yelamarthy is a freshman studying electrical engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. He is from Doylestown, PA, about an hour from Philly. Outside of ILMUNC, he is involved in Penn Electric Racing as a member of the electrical hardware team. In his free time, you can catch him playing foosball, pool, or going to gym.

Rohith Yelisetty

Rohith Yelisetty is a freshman from Northern Virginia, studying Artificial Intelligence in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He has participated in Model UN since his freshman year in high school, and has competed in ILMUNC for three years! Elizabeth Chinea

Elizabeth Chinea is a freshman from Miami, FL studying Biology. She formed a part of her high schools model UN team for all 4 years of high school. Outside of ILMUNC, Elizabeth is involved in the Alternative Protein Project, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and works in a lab on campus. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family and acting. She is very excited for ILMUNC XLIII and to meet all of the amazing delegates.

Avi Gupta

Avi is a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania from Northern New Jersey studying Economics and Anthropology. He has been involved with ILMUNC since his first year at Penn and is excited to be serving on the Secretariat this year. On campus, Avi is also involved with Penn International Impact Consulting and Penn Climate Ventures. Outside of school, he enjoys piloting, golfing, and traveling.

She is from Los Angeles, California and participated in Model UN in high school. Outside of ILMUNC, Lily is involved in research through the PORES program, volunteering, and the International Affairs Association at Penn. In her free time, Lily loves reading, finding new music, and running. She can’t wait to meet all the delegates of ILMUNC XLIII!
